When speaking about Dynamite, sometimes I encounter folks who are curious and willing to look further, but are not totally convinced and certainly not ready to completely change over their entire horse feeding program (which we all know is a very big deal). Often these folks want to stick their big toe in the Dynamite pool and start with just one product.
The Free Choice Mineral Starter Pack, Dyna-Hoof, or a vitamin and mineral supplement like TNT, is an easy target for these “just one” purchases. These folks want to see a response from one product as a way of “believing” in the entire product line. Example: the horse gobbles down the Free Choice Minerals showing he’s clearly deficient in something, suddenly grows a gorgeous, or at least noticeably better, hoof wall, or suddenly turns around in coat and disposition. The assumption, or stated fact, is that if this one thing works, then they’ll go for more. After all, seeing is believing, and they need to see.
While I can understand this approach to such a big decision, it doesn’t quite fit the bill for testing out Dynamite.
WHY?
Because Dynamite is a Program, not a Product!
Let’s begin by taking the example of the bridle. The bridle is a tool made up of several parts, the bit, reins, cheek piece and brow band at least. These parts work in conjunction with one another to provide communication to the horse. If you take apart the bridle and use just one part, it doesn’t work. You can’t communicate with the horse if you only have the bit (connected to nothing), or only the reins (connected to nothing), or only the cheek piece (connected to nothing). The function is lost if the part is not used as part of the whole.
Dynamite is a method of balancing and meeting the nutritional needs of the horse. There are several parts and all of the parts are necessary to achieve the end result-nutritional soundness.
Dynamite begins with an equine Foundation that includes three parts,
Part 1: A vitamin & mineral supplement (Dynamite, Dynamite Plus, or TNT)
Part 2: A prebiotic (Dyna Pro)
Note: Parts 1 and 2 work together to provide the majority of needs the majority of the time (98% of the daily, consistent, predictable needs of the horse).
Part 3: Free Choice Minerals (1 to 1 Free Choice, 2 to 1 Free Choice, Izmine, and NTM Salt)
Four Free Choice minerals are offered because the mineral needs of all horses fluctuate due to weather, stress, activity level, emotions, hormones, changes in hay, and all kinds of things. Free choice minerals provide about 2% of the overall needs “filling-in” where nature and man create a gap. This Foundation [program] will maintain health in a healthy horse.
In addition to the Foundation [program], Dynamite offers a ton of additional products for individuals. Horses in different parts of the country, horses with underlying medical conditions, horses with a variety of jobs/activity levels, horses with their own unique, sometimes unbalanced nutritional background or toxic burden, often have nutritional needs in addition to the Foundation [program]. These additional, optional, products exist to assist with the individual’s needs, and they are developed, balanced, and designed to work with the Foundation [program].
Taking any Dynamite product (either foundational or optional) and simply adding it to other (non Dynamite) feeding regimen can actually change the effect of the product and will not give you the Dynamite end result. It’s like baking a cake. If you take all of the ingredients for a cake and mix them together you get the cake. But if you take half of the ingredients from one cake, and half from another, you will get a different cake. You have to; it’s made of different ingredients. So, if you give a horse a product that is designed to be balanced with another product and mix it with something else, you get something all together different! Different ingredients make a different cake.
So the message here is the importance of understanding how the Dynamite program is formulated and designed to be used. It’s not fair, or effective, to take one part out and think it’s going to be the same as when that part is part of the whole.
Now, having said all that, I do understand the need to take things slowly, try things on for size and see to believe, before making a big decision. And there is still a way to do that…
Give Dynamite’s full foundation (all three parts of the equine program) a chance for 60 days*. That’s it. 60 days. Make the change for 60 days and then look at your animal. If he’s not better, brighter, happier, then go back to what you were doing. You’re not signing a ten-year contract here! In fact, Dynamite has a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee for every customer. If you are dissatisfied for any reason, you may return the product within 60 days of purchase for a full refund. So, try it-risk free, see it, and then believe. That’s the only way to really test it. That’s the way it is designed to be used and that’s the way you will see the result. Dynamite is a program where the sum is greater than the individual parts and, in fact, in some cases, the individual parts are actually different if they are not part of the total system. That is the way to stick your toe in.
You can’t just buy the flour and eat the cake!
Note: Dynamite’s prebiotic, Dyna Pro, is the one exception to this rule. Dyna Pro can be used safely and effectively with all horses on any feeding regimen.
*The full benefits of Dynamite’s program begin to be seen between 60 and 120 days, which is the time it takes for the entire pool of blood to be regenerated. The trial period is designed to let you test the water and see the beginning of a great journey, the journey to health.
